I thought maybe we were going to have some warm spring weather. Wrong we had a 2 hour spring snow storm. Yesterday while crossing the church parking lot it was snowing so stinking hard I could not tell if the ground was flat or slanted. Apparently there was a slight slop, as my knee hit the ground and then the rest of me right out there for all of the folks driving by on highway 306 to see. I realized that is not a safe place for me to be walking right now!! So next time I can't see my hand in front of my face I will walk where I know it is flat.Never say never!! I said I would never knit socks on a toothpick. My friend, Marilyn King, who sells the yarn below gifted me these wonderful sock yarns which will need to knit on size 0 needles. I usually knit most of my socks on size 2's or 1's. My sister is coming and we are going to knit socks, don't worry Terry I will not set you up to fail and myself look like a know it all on your first socks. I have matured since our childhood days!! This yarn is such a great gift, I am thinking about trying to dye some of the light colored ones. I will post pictures, but first I have to finish the sock in the picture.
Today we had meetings at work so I knitted on the pink sock. Someone asked me if they noticed me knitting in the meeting. Hmmmmm, I don't have to look at the stitches as I go, but unless the man is blind he should of noticed the bright pink sock. Anyway, he did not tell me to put it away, if he would have it would not of been long before he asked me to get it out again. I didn't bring a doodle pad. (I don't sit still well, Mike refers to it as a shark in a feeding frenzy, if I don't have anything to keep my hands busy)

I'm like you...I like to have something for my hands to be doing...or my brain to be reading.
Hope your knee is all right :)
Hey Cuz!
I know how you feel - I am an eternal klutz, and if there is a humiliating fall to be taken, you can be sure that I'll find it! I too learn to avoid the 'blinding' snow or rain trials. Luckily Edinburgh is full of iron fence railings I can pull myself along by!
Tell Terry 'hi'!
