Spring may be on it's way to Buena Vista

My newest sock project has all the colors of spring. I seem to have quite a few socks knitted up that are not pairs. So this month with be the season to not let that be the case.

From this to that!! Here is the sock I just finished knitting up from the yarn I dyed with the bag full of yellow onion skins!! I am very happy with the way the yarn turned out and the socks look great too. I have scolded myself for wanting to dye more yarn before I have knitted up the last 3 batches that are waiting some needles to touch them. My thoughts keep going toward a blue-bell yarn color. One other pair will need to at least get started before I am even allowed to get close to the dye pot.

When Mike gets home he will have great stories to tell. He was invited to help out at a branding and was so excited to go. It is the first branding however that he did not take his own horse. Just threw some tack in the truck and off he went. Mike does miss this time of year with branding and seeing all the new life on the ranch. I am so thrilled for him to get to be a part of his life that he misses.
We are sure missing our Max dog, chatter from Mikes end of the table is sounding more like getting another Corgi dog some day. I may have to get a night job to afford one!! Maybe I can post some pictures of a dog instead of knitting all the time. Wouldn't that be fun for you all. Until next time--I will try not to wait so long.

Those both look awesome! Max was a good dog :) You've never been without a dog, except for just after Morgan died, and now of course. I'm sure you could fine a mutt to adopt down at the local pound, if that's where you're led of course :)

Love you :)
